Our grade 6-8 students will be participating in One School, One Book - the novel Shooting Kabul.  A very detailed newsletter, along with a copy of the novel was sent home yesterday.  Take part of this awesome activity as a family, using the recommended Twitter feed (#shootingkabul) and Instagram account (MCK1S1B) to win cool prizes.  In addition, there will be daily trivia (ie: Bell Work) around the novel that students will attempt every day.  Enjoy the story and the time spent reading as a family!

- We are having a "Hat and Gum" Day on Wednesday, Feb. 10.  We are asking students donate $2 for each activity (ie: $2 for hat and another $2 for chewing gum).  All proceeds will be given to Telemiracle 40!
- The annual Asessippi Ski Trip is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11.  The bus is leaving MC Knoll at 7:30 a.m. and will return around 4:30-5:00 p.m.  Students are encouraged to bring a bag lunch or money to buy a lunch.  Obviously, dress for being outdoors.
- There will be a "Battle of the Genders" basketball game on Friday, Feb. 12 (2:15 start).  The MC Knoll boys team will be challenging the YRHS junior girls team.
- Friday, Feb. 12 is also Pink/Red Day!
