Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - Nov. 20

Term 1 Report Cards were handed-out today!  I encourage you to have some good conversations about what was accomplished in the previous three months, what specifically can be improved, and most importantly, how it can be improved.

 Speaking of conversations about report cards, parent-teacher-student conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 25 and Thursday, Nov. 26.  

 Lastly, an "MC Knoll Clothing Newsletter" was sent home today.  If you are interested in ordering, please return the form and appropriate money by Friday, Nov. 27.

Homework:
Math - Fractions Pre-Test (OVERDUE)
ELA - Small Group Reading #4 (Before/During/After) (Monday, Nov. 23)
Science - Mountain Lion Crossing (Tuesday, Nov. 24)
ELA - Nov./Dec. Writing Folder (Monday, Dec. 14)

Reminders:
- Students will be curling, yet again, for the Monday, Nov. 23 Adventure Ed. class.  Students are welcome to bring any curling gear they have.
