Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. I invite you to check this blog on a daily basis as I will be posting valuable information about the classroom and the school - including daily homework assignments, important dates, classroom/school news, etc.

Classroom News - Sept. 3

There will be an MC Knoll "Open House" and BBQ tonight from 5:30 - 7:00.  Hope to see everyone there!

 A handful of additional forms/items were handed out today, including:
- Registration Form (white) - please return by Tuesday, Sept. 8.
- Noon Hour Permission Form (pink) - please return by Tuesday, Sept. 8
- Threat Assessment Letter (green)
- Insurance Pamphlet (optional to purchase)
- GSSD Magnet

 There has been a schedule change to the student's timetables.  Refer to the updated timetable at the bottom of the blog.

Grade 7 students will be enjoying their first P.A.A. class of the year tomorrow (Friday, Sept. 4)!

 Homework:
Math - N7.1 Pre-Test (Friday, Sept. 4)
Science - Scientist Wanted Posters (Friday, Sept. 11)

Reminders:
- Read through the MC Knoll Student Handbook with your son/daughter (found on the bottom of the blog).  
- Sign and return the following forms by tomorrow (Friday, Sept, 4): 
        - Classroom Guidelines and Expectations sheet (yellow) 
        - Classroom Blog sheet (purple)
        - Adventure Ed. form and $30 fee (white)
