Welcome to Mr. McDowell's classroom blog. I am very excited to have a classroom webpage and I hope that you will find it useful. The purpose of this blog is to provide a convenient (and reliable) communication link between students, parents, the school and Mr. McDowell. Classroom News - May 13

The annual GSSD outdoor track and field meet is scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, May 14) at YRHS Century Field.  Be sure to prepare for being outdoors ALL day - bringing food and/or money for the canteen, water, appropriate track and field clothing, sunscreen, etc.  Come on out and cheer on our young athletes!

The following people have not handed-in their SAYCW survey permission forms:

Reminders:
- Grade 7 students will need to prepare for future Phys. Ed. classes by bringing a baseball glove.
- The yearbook order forms were sent yesterday.  If interested in cherishing the memories from the 2014-2015 school year, please return the form and $23 fee by Friday, May 29.
- There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, May 18 (Victoria Day), as well as Tuesday, May 19 (School In-Service).  YAHOO!!!
